CHILDREN'S BIBLE STUDY In Recess until Fall Bible study for children age six and older is held Sunday morning from 8:30-9:40 a.m. throughout the school year. This class is lead by Subdeacon Brandon Metzger. CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD (View in Word Format) In Recess until Fall 8:30 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. during the school year, for Children Ages 3-6 years of age. We are finally at the start of another year in our Atrium. I am excited to get this year started. It has been a blessing to work with the children for the past 3 years as they have gone through each stage of the Catechesis. It is exciting to see some of our children grow to the point where they are ready to move past the Catechesis into a new class that is beginning for them. It is also exciting to add new children to the Catechesis this year as they have finally hit the age 3 mark!! To maintain an atmosphere of prayer and to preserve the natural rhythm of the atrium which your children are going to be a part of we ask that each parent follow these guidelines: - Please have your children arrive at the bottom of the Atrium stairs promptly at 8:30 a.m.
- If you must arrive after 8:30 a.m., please have your child walk quietly up to the atrium on his or her own. Please consider that if your child arrives late, it can be a distraction and disruption to the other children. They are also missing valuable time to work on their own and may be missing presentation time that will have to be made up at a later time before they are able to work with some of the materials.
- We ask that you commit to bringing your child every week. While we understand that sometimes it is not possible to be at church, every time your child misses a Sunday in the Atrium, they are missing valuable presentations that have to made up in order to move on to the next presentation.
- If your child is not able to attend on a Sunday morning, please contact Staci at (262) 495-2979.
- We would be more than happy to schedule a time for you to observe your child in the Atrium. Please talk to Ellen or me to schedule a Sunday to observe at your convenience.
